United States: In an attempt to highlight the differences between incumbent President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden in the days before the first presidential debate at the end of June, the Biden campaign said on Monday that it will be investing fifty million in advertisements.
Ad Campaign Details
The campaign is debuting a 30-second commercial called “Character Matters,” which showcases verdicts against Trump in both criminal and civil courts, as part of the 50 million dollars expenditure.
In the advertising, the narrator claims, “He’s been found liable for sexual assault, convicted of 34 felonies, and he committed financial fraud,” “Meanwhile, Joe Biden’s been working.”

Message and Target Audience
According to the campaign, the TV spot would air on cable TV and “in all battleground states.”
“This election is between a convicted criminal who’s only out for himself and a president who’s fighting for your family,” adds the narrator.
Shortly after the decision was made, Biden called Trump a “convicted felon,” calling it “disturbing” that “a former president that is a convicted felon is now seeking the office of the presidency.”
Debate Strategy
As the Biden campaign criticizes Trump for his conviction, Biden’s son was found guilty last week of three felonies involving firearms. The president referred to his son as “one of the brightest, most decent men I know” and expressed his “extreme pride” in him following Hunter Biden’s conviction.
Biden and Trump, who are now tied in the polls, will debate on June 27. According to expectations, Biden will highlight the differences between himself and his predecessor at the debate stage in this new commercial.

The Biden team claims that he is ready to “hold Trump accountable for his extreme record” in the debate, arguing that Biden is “projecting himself as the wise and steady leader in contrast to Trump’s chaos and division.”
Fundraising Success and Strategy
According to the campaign, the June paid advertising campaign includes investments to reach voters who identify as Black, Latino, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander.
The 50 million dollars paid media announcement follows the accomplishment of campaign fundraising goals. It reported that throughout the course of the weekend, the Biden crusade and its sympathizers raised nearly 30 million bones at a Los Angeles fete that drew a large number of celebrities.
Federal Election Commission bills reveal that at the end of April, the Biden crusade had raised over$ 84 million, while the Trump crusade had raised over$ 49 million. April is the rearmost month for which FEC backing information is available.
